Our Story (draft)
The Fields story goes back further than 2020, but that’s a story for another time and place.
It began with a small circle of friends who met every week for what we simply called Monday Night Cell Group. We gathered around food, scripture, and real conversations, doing life together through every season. Even when it was tiring to meet after long days, we showed up, shared stories, and always walked away encouraged and grounded in God’s Word.

Then Covid hit. Many churches were caught off guard, but our group kept going. We met online, prayed, studied, and supported one another through uncertain times. As the group grew beyond our usual circle, we renamed it Faith in Action, because that’s exactly what it became: a community living out its faith, even in lockdown. We especially honour Delvina Titimanu, a faithful servant and natural leader, whose heart and consistency were crucial to this season.

Around that same time, one family’s journey became a prophetic sign of God’s faithfulness. After 11 years, they were forced to move to another rental property for the sake of their daughter’s health. Finding a home seemed impossible, yet within a week they viewed, applied, and were accepted. Soon after, the husband received a pay rise that perfectly matched the increase in rent - provision only God could orchestrate. One day, while doing covid deliveries, the wife noticed the Lynfield Community Centre beside their new street, just hidden in plain sight, like the Kingdom itself. That moment stirred the thought: What if this is where God is planting something new?

As conversations grew, leaders Darcie Muaiava, Tini Toala, and Pr Esera Timu gave their courageous yes to church planting and confirmed through prayer, fasting, and counsel from Pr Paul Siope and Pr Keli Pepa.

One key encourager of this vision, a woman of deep faith, gave a prophetic offering of $50,000 from the sale of her family estate to help start the church plant. Her generosity became both confirmation and catalyst for what God was doing.

On February 6, 2021, The Fields held its first Gathered Sabbath. From under 30 to now over 100, The Fields continues to grow, planted in Lynfield, Auckland and inspired by 1 Corinthians 3:9: “You are God’s building; you are God’s field.”

We’re super thankful for everyone who has been part of The Fields story, whether you’re The Fields or the Fields of The Fields, you are part of this miracle. We also honour Dr. Pr Paul and Pr Fiona Siope, their have been faithful stewards of the gospel and has anchored this movement in Kingdom purpose.

God continues to write this story today and we invite you to be part of it.
Our Kingdom Values
Missional Living Over Missional Performances
We're not here to impress. We're here to impact. We live sent lives, not stage lives.
Relationship Over Religion
We don't love people because they're church members. We don't serve people because they follow the rules. We love... just because.
Collaboration Over Competition
We're not here to outdo each other. We're here to uplift each other.
